This is my complete presentation .

It took me a while to get right becuase i had to shrink it and even then it was too big. however i have finally managed to get it uploaded onto the internet.

I encountered a few problems that were usually due to the size of my presentation.

1) After resizing my pictures the presentation was still too big to upload as a powerpoint directly onto my blog. I therefore had to put it onto a website and make a link.

2) Before i resized my pictures i could not upload it onto a web page because it was too big for that too. However, after changing the sizes i managed to get it down from around 50mb to 4mb which was still too big to upload onto my blog but i could do onto a web page.

i decided to base my project in powerpoint and have been working on it for quite a while during lessons and at home. this gave me time to decide what to write within it and how it can be helpful etc. i used the booklet we were given to help me by showing what things need to add and how to improve it. first of all i resurched the recipe but after finding any different ones i decided to use the one i have at home and has been modefied. some websites you could also use are:

I chose my topic because i could think of more things to say about it and how it could be helpful to others. It also meant i could take pics or make a video to present it. Furthrmore there are so many different types of cakes and food to make so their will be more variety between mine and other peoples blogs.

I chose this particular type of cake because it is quite easy to make and often have it at home. Furthermore, i don't think any people knwow of it so it can be helpful in that respect as well.

i think it helps the community because it can help someone learn to cook and find new recipes that they may not of tried out before. also their are many different recipes for this particular cake so it could be helpful for someone trying to find one that suits them.

i have made sure the pictures are a decent size so that you can see them but they don't take up the whole page

mine: i have had difficulties with my blogs and presentation. i now feel more confident in my ICT skills.

someone elses: i have viewed other peoples blog and they all seem rather good.
they have similar things to mine however people have decided to set out their "golden ingots community project" differently as some have videos, others website accounts such as piczo.

i am going to attack mainly screen shots and other photos. however i am also attacking my presentation and having links to websites e.g. the one for the NOS (national occupational standards)

i am attaching these because they will make my blogs more interesting and can show the work i have been doing and help explain the blogs better.

these attachments can be viewed by everyone so that they can see what i'v been doing.

i am

i have used screen shots and digital pictures throughout my blogs and presentation. they are helpful because they show parts of my presentation and can help explain/emphasize a point. with screan shots i can attach them to my blogs to show what i am talking about within them so people will have a rough idea on what the topic is about. images help to make things look more interesting and stop it being just text which can put people off reading things. to attach a screen shot i print screened pages of my presentation etc and opened them in macromedia fireworks. i then saved it and using the tools down below attached it to my blogs. an example of this is:

my presentation does not hold much information on what the cake i am making is like or pictures.

i can improve this by taking pictures of the processes of making it, and adding them to my presentation. i can then add captions describing the steps and extra notes about what to do to keep safe or improve it and why it does that.

furthermore the layout does not look very interesting so i may change it so that it is easy to read and looks nice.

im hazel and i am doing my GOLDEN INGOTS project now.

for my compunity project i am going to show steps on how to make a cake.

i am going to create a power-point to explain these processes and the cake i am describing is called "chocolate puddle pudding".

my presentation will help people becuase it will have points on safety, hygiene, when you might make it, why you might make it, tips to consider while making it...

This with be able to help the community because it has saftey tips which will help prevent accidents which can be considereed while cooking other things. furthermore there are instructions on how to make it and all the ingedients you will need so people can learn to cook without too much difficulty or having to buy a book.
