Fees for INGOT Centres and Academies

In the UK the cost of registering an INGOT Centre is £250 per year.

Certification costs in addition to this are £3 per certificate for the accredited certificates. In addition, the regulators require accredited certificates to be printed on templates provided by the Awarding Body. These are provided at a cost of 35p and can be ordered from this web site or by contacting Rosemary on 01827 305947

In the case of primary and special schools acting as centres, the same rules apply but in schools with very low numbers there will be no additional charges for each certificate.  Primary schools and special schools might act as academies by simply paying an annual fee of £250 per annum if they have less than 250 learners on role or £1 per learner on role where the number is greater than 249.

INGOT Academies pay an annual subscription based on the number of learners on roll and they are then free to use the system to award as many certificates as can be achieved within their school throughout the year, and if a secondary school, in up to 5 feeder primary schools and for 100 people in the wider community.

This provides an economy of scale lowering the costs and providing better value for money. Ingot academies pay 35p for accredited certificate templates as required.

There are currently 3 levels of Academy.

Bronze Academies pay £1 per learner on roll per year and they are eligible for the award of the three basic Entry level (Bronze) qualifications in "ICT Open Systems and Office Applications" to any students meeting the standards.

Silver Academies pay £1-50p per learner on roll per year and they are eligible for the award of the three basic Entry level (Bronze) qualifications and the Level 1 Silver "ICT Open Systems and Office Applications" to any students meeting the standards.

Gold Academies pay £2-00p per learner on roll and they are eligible for the award of the three basic Entry level (Bronze) qualifications, the Level 1 Silver certificate "ICT Open Systems and Office Applications" and the Level 2 Gold certificate "ICT Open Systems and Office Applications" to any students meeting the standards.

Additional qualifications such as the Silver Enterprise and Gold Enterprise certificates in ICT Open Systems, Enterprise and Business Growth can be added to a Centre or an Academy's provision at a cost of £3 per accredited unit taken. Again certificate templates are 35p each.
