Bronze academies

A Bronze Academy has at least one qualified Bronze INGOT assessor trainer. This person is experienced in the assessment of ICT and can grant assessor status to any member of the Academy for the Bronze INGOT provided that the person being given the status is capable of assessing consistently all aspects of the Bronze INGOT.

A Bronze Academy can generate income by running courses leading to certification, if it so desires. This is not compulsory and some academies will choose to provide INGOT support to the community for free using their own resources.

A Bronze academy has a Principal Assessor who is responsible for standards within the academy and accountable for these standards to The Learning Machine Ltd. The Principal Assessor must be an assessor trainer.

Bronze academies will generally work towards a position where all members of the organisation capable of achieving bronze level will be certificated with the Bronze INGOT.
